Privacy Policy

How Miogra collects, uses, shares, and safeguards information when you use our applications, websites, and related services.

Effective and last updated: 22 July 2026
At a glance: Miogra uses information to operate the platform, fulfil transactions and deliveries, prevent fraud, provide support, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to individuals who use or interact with the Miogra platform, including customers, sellers, delivery partners, administrators, and visitors. “Miogra”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to the entity operating the Miogra service. By using the service, you acknowledge the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account details such as name, phone number, email address, profile image, and login credentials.
  • Transaction and fulfilment details, including orders, delivery addresses, instructions, invoices, refunds, and support requests.
  • Seller or delivery-partner information, such as business details, identity or verification documents, bank or payout details, licences, and tax information.
  • Communications, reviews, feedback, and other content you submit.

Information collected automatically

  • Device, browser, IP address, app version, identifiers, language, and operating-system information.
  • Usage and diagnostic data, including pages viewed, actions taken, crash logs, and performance data.
  • Approximate or precise location where permitted by your settings and required for delivery or safety features.

Payment credentials may be processed directly by authorised payment providers. Miogra may receive limited payment status, method, and transaction-reference information.

3. How we use information

  • Create and secure accounts; verify users, sellers, and delivery partners.
  • Process orders, payments, refunds, settlements, and deliveries.
  • Provide customer support and communicate service or account updates.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and prohibited activity.
  • Personalise and improve services, analytics, reliability, and user experience.
  • Send promotional messages where allowed; you can opt out at any time.
  • Meet legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations.

4. How we share information

We share information only as reasonably necessary with:

  • Sellers, customers, and delivery partners to fulfil a transaction.
  • Vetted providers supporting payments, hosting, analytics, communications, maps, identity verification, customer support, and security.
  • Professional advisers, regulators, courts, or law-enforcement bodies when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
  • A successor organisation in connection with a merger, financing, reorganisation, or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Service providers may use information only to perform contracted services and must protect it appropriately.

5. Location information

When you enable location access, Miogra may use precise location to show available services, calculate routes and fees, support live delivery tracking, confirm fulfilment, and protect users. Delivery partners may need background location access while actively providing a delivery. You can control permissions in your device settings, although disabling them may limit location-dependent features.

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business, safety, tax, accounting, and legal purposes. Retention periods vary by data type and legal requirement. When information is no longer required, we delete, anonymise, or securely isolate it.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, monitoring, and restricted employee access. No internet service is completely secure, so users should protect passwords and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.

8. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; and raise a grievance. You may update some details through your account, manage device permissions through system settings, and unsubscribe using the link in promotional messages. We may verify your identity before completing a request and may retain information where legally required.

9. Children’s privacy

The platform is not intended for independent use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorisation. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, please contact us.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice where required. Continued use after the effective date means the revised policy applies.

11. Contact and grievances

For privacy questions, rights requests, or grievances, contact Miogra through the support or grievance channel shown in the application or website. Please include your registered contact information and enough detail for us to understand the request. We aim to acknowledge and address requests within the period required by applicable law.
